Recycling and reusing solar photovoltaic (PV) is challenging because separating the individual components, such as glass, silicon, metals, wiring, and plastic, is difficult as they are integrated in such a way. In addition to environmental issues, there are economic viability issues related to recycling and reusing solar PVs. Paul Bartley is doing his PhD at UniSA. In his PhD, he looked at the current financial viability and legal framework for recycling and reusing Solar PV.

Paul educated us on product stewardship programs and current & future Australian legal to support the recycling and reuse of Solar PV in the podcast and international scenario
